How to get there
By car: From the north: Take the A8 motorway Munich - Oberaudorf (toll-free) - then from Kössen - Erpfendorf - Waidring (travelling time from Munich to Waidring approx. 1,5 hrs). From the west: Vienna - Salzburg - in the direction of Lofer, Kitzbühel (travelling time Vienna - Waidring approx. 3,5 hrs). By train: The nearest train-station is in St. Johann/Tyrol, then take the bus to Waidring. By plane: the nearest airports are in Salzburg (47 km) or Munich (150 km).

Waidring also has a lot to offer off-piste. Various apres ski bars as well as cosy huts invite you in to party after a long day on the slopes. Especially well-known are the "Disco N° 1" and the terrace bar "Zardinis" at the lift station. Should anyone prefer it quieter, you can let yourself be culinarily spoilt in one of the many restaurants or take a trip to the Lamprechtshöhle in Weißbach, which is one of the largest cave systems in Europe.
