The cosy, peaceful mountain village of Kolsassberg is located at an altitude of 906 m and lies nestled between the Karwendel mountain range and the Tux Alps, between the Olympic town of Innsbruck and the lovely Ziller Valley. The tradition-rich village invites you in to rest and relax, but also to partake in extensive winter strolls and ski on superbly prepared pistes. The elevated location of Kolsassberg offers you an imposing panorama of the Inn Valley as well as the surrounding mountain ranges. Also the close proximity to Innsbruck offers a perfect opportunity to go on lovely daytrip.

After extensive downhill or cross-country skiing, or hiking, you have the opportunity to let yourself be culinary spoilt with Tyrolean specialities at the Kolsassberg. Noteworthy are, for example, the "Hofer Stub'n" or the "Berggasthaus Gartlach". Both localities offer guests a cosy Tyrolean atmosphere with good food as well as one or the other "Schnapserl' ". Satiated, you can toboggan from the Berggasthaus Gartlach on a natural tobogganing run right down to Kolsassberg. Anyone wanting to experience more action in the evenings can take a trip into the Innsbruck nightlife (approx. 25 km) with its numerous bars and discos!
