From the direction of Vienna: western motorway - Salzburg - Bischofshofen - Zell am See - Krimml (460 km)
From the direction of Munich: Munich - Rosenheim - Siegsdorf - Lofer - Zell am See - Krimml (240 km)
By train:
From the direction of Vienna: western line - Vienna - Linz - Bischofshofen - Zell am See, then take a local train to Krimml
From the direction of Munich: Munich - Rosenheim - Wörgl - Kitzbühel, then take a bus over the Thurn pass to Krimml

Summer resort
Walk along old shephard and mule tracks up to the 'Krimmler Tauern' or the pear orchard in the southern Tyrolean 'Tauferer Ahrntal' valley. In Krimml/Hochkrimml, the start of the TAUERNRADWEG walk is to be found, which leads along the Salzach or the Saalach into Salzburg - the 'Mozart city' - or futher to the mouth of the river Inn and Passau. A real experience for enthusiastic cyclists.
