At the foot of the Astberg (1,267 m), surrounded by the Kitzbüheler Alps in the south, as well as the Wilder Kaiser in the North, is Going at 800 m altitude. The typically Tyrolean village has retained its special charm and invites you to relax. The Wilder
Kaiser towers majestically over the resort, and some claim that the mountain range is at its loveliest here. Skiers will find a tremendous range of pistes on the mountain ridge from Astberg to Hohe Salve. The Going village church, dominating the townscape,
is one of the loveliest rococo churches in Austria. A further highlight in Going: The famous Stanglwirt not only entices the in-crowd from Munich and Vienna, but is mainly known for its "Weißwurst" parties.
