Going - skiing fit for a king!
At the foot of the Astberg (1,267 m), surrounded by the Kitzbüheler Alps in the south, as well as the Wilder Kaiser in the North, is Going at 800 m altitude. The Wilder Kaiser towers majestically over the resort, and some claim that the mountain range is at its loveliest here. Skiers will find a tremendous range of pistes on the mountain ridge from Astberg to Hohe Salve. The Going village church, dominating the townscape, is one of the loveliest rococo churches in Austria. A further highlight in Going: The famous Stanglwirt not only entices the in-crowd from Munich and Vienna, but is mainly known for its "Weißwurst" parties.
SkiWith the "Ski World Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" lift pass you have access to Austria's largest connected ski area!
