Location/Facilities
The comfortable and well-kept 4-star Hotel Dax is located at the edge of Lofer, centrally in the Pinzgauer Saalach Valley and is surrounded by the wonderful Loferer Stone Mountains. To the resort centre with its various entertainment and shopping facilities
is it approx. 150 m. The ski bus stops directly in front of the house and take you easily to the approx. 300 m distant valley station of the Loferer Alm lift. There is also a cross-country trail to be found there. The hotel is well maintained and offers traditional
friendliness and welcoming atmosphere. The modern and stylish facilities include a friendly entrance area with reception, lift, a restaurant in cosy country-house style and with a non-smoking section, bistro, sociable hotel bar, dancing area in the cellar,
children's playroom, as well as a ski cellar and a ski boot room. The well-kept spa area offers a Finnish sauna, steam bath and relaxation room (included daily). A solarium, as well as various massages and beauty treatments can be booked and paid for locally.
Further 3x per week there are various entertainment programmes, such as e.g. cave hikes, curling, or tobogganing (weather dependent, payable locally). Free parking spaces are available at the accommodation. Further the ski depot at the valley station of the
lift can also be used for free.

The friendly furnished rooms offer a bath or shower/wc, cable Tv, telephone, some also have a safe (payable locally) and a hair drier.
Board
The already included half-board PLUS comprises a breakfast buffet with organic food corner, daily cake (15:00 - 16:00) and a 4-course evening meal with choice and salad buffet. On Christmas and New Year's Eve special 5-course festive menu are served.
