Location
The comfortable 3*-hotel is located amidst the skiing region Tauplitzalm at an altitude of 1.650m.
Next to the hotel there are 8 lifts for skiers and snowboarders as well as an ski school. The towns Tauplitz and Bad Mitterndorf with shops and restaurants are about 12–15km away. The Tauplitzalm is car-free in the winter. The hotel offers a pick-up service bringing the guests from the car park to the hotel with a snow mobileor a Pistenbully.

Accouterment
The traditional hotel furnished with a lot of wood has a new glassed winter garden, the new bar „Bergkristall“ with a large TV and karaoke, pine wood snuggery with open fireplace and a cosy café. The rustic restaurant with original wood ceiling from former times serves you traditional specialties from Styria using regional products and fine wines.
Lift and ski storage room are available.
Payable at the hotel: parking places EUR 4,– per day.
Pets EUR 5,– per night.

Meals
Half-board: large breakfast buffet, in the evening 3-course menu of choice with salad buffet. Welcome drink at arrival.

Skiing region Tauplitzalm: The Tauplitzalm is on an altitude of 1.600m, the centre of Tauplitz is in a distance of 15km from the hotel.
Skiing region from an altitude of 900 - 2000m. A total of 14 T-bar lifts, 4 chair lifts, 40km of slopes.

Rooms
The rooms are furnished in a traditional style with bright pine wood creating a nice ambiance. All rooms have been renovated recently and offer a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, Sat-TV and mostly a balcony with view to the mountains. Some rooms have a couch or an armchair which can be modified to a bed if needed.
