The newly opened Explorer Hotel Kitzbühel in modern design is located directly in St. Johann in Tirol, only a stone's throw from the ski slopes.

Accouterment
The passive house hotel with modern colors and sporty-casual atmosphere, built according to economic principles of sustainability, is perfect for relaxing and simultaneously for active winter holidays. The Explorer Lounge with bench, sports locker, seating areas and breakfast area is the center of hotel life. You can relax and have a drink or a snack at the Explorer Bar with friends or family. The Explorer Wall informs you via interactive touch screens about leisure activities, ski resorts and tours around the hotel. In addition, the house has 2 meeting rooms, a locker, a workbench for preparing the skis, a lift and free parking on site.

In the Kitzbühel Alps you have the opportunity to discover some of the largest ski areas in Tyrol.

The ski area in St. Johann in Tyrol-Oberndorf is located on the snowy side of the Kitzbühel Horn. Overall 42,5 kilometers of slopes for all levels and 17 ski lifts are available for skiing and snowboarding.
The ski areas Kirchdorf and Erpfendorf (6 or 11 km) are ideal for the first steps on ski.
The family-friendly practice slopes are ideal for returners and beginners. The Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser (about 20km away) is Austria's largest interconnected ski and snowboard paradise. 90 lifts, 280 km of pistes and 3 snow parks speak for themselves.
Only about 14 minutes drive from St. Johann in Tirol is the ski resort Kitzbühel-Kirchberg with 170 kilometers of pistes, 54 lifts and the legendary Streif run.

The Explorer Hotel Kitzbühel is only a few steps from the valley station of the St. Johann cable cars. The bus stop of the free ski bus is also at the hotel and takes you quickly and easily into the surrounding ski areas. Ski service and ski rental in the hotel.
