The apres ski mecca Hochzillertal has just about everything to offer when it comes to ending your day of skiing successfully! Rustic, cosy ski huts and mountain pastures border the pistes and tempt you with lounge chairs and open fires. Especially exclusive
are the Kristallhütte and the Wedelhütte. Afterwards, the Postalm and Seetal's umbrella bar, directly at the valley station of Hochzillertal, invite you to enjoy some Jagertee and warm, mulled wine.
Whoever has had enough of skiing and apres ski hustle-and-bustle can find a relaxing alternative programme in and around Schlitters. Several hiking trails run from the resort to the picturesque mountain world, such as the 2 hour long tour to the Spitzerköpfl
(809 m), or the panoramic hiking trail to the Reither Kogel (1,336 m). However, to reach this 2.5 hour long trail, you will need to navigate your way up with the Reither cable car. A less sport-intensive alternative, one which helps you get to know the area
a little better, is a ride with the nostalgic Zillertal train. Zillertal is not hard-pressed to offer romance and a stress-free experience. For water lovers, a trip to the adventure-thermal bath of Zillertal near Fügen is worth the visit. From spectacular
water slides to spas with sauna landscapes, every family member will find something in the extensive thermal paradise. For the night owls, the neighbouring towns of Strass and Fügen have a large selection of cosy taverns, bars, and pubs.
