Steeg, with a population of 680, is the last municipality visitors travel through before they reach the end of the Lechtal Valley. It comprises several hamlets, the westernmost of which (Lechleiten and Gehren) are located at the end of the impressive Lechschlucht gorge, right on the border with the neighbouring province of Vorarlberg.

In the center of the holiday resort Steeg, in the communal building of Steeg GmbH, is the Aqua Nova adventure pool. This facility comprises three zones, namely a water world, a spa world and an area that is completely dedicated to children. The world of water (Wasser Welt) comprises the indoor swimming pool with its different swimming areas, massage jets, a waterfall and heat banks. Ideal for relaxation of body and soul are the swirling loungers, aimed at the fabulous mountains of the Lechtal valley.
