Niederau is situated at 824 m at the valley entrance to Wildschönau, only about 7 km from Wörgl, the nearest city. The typical Tyrolean alpine village, located on the edge of the Kitzbühel Alps and the foot of the Markbachjoch (1,500 m), sets standards for cosy winter sports.
