General information
The Turracher Höhe, with its 62 inhabitants, lies 1763 m above sea level. The extensive sporting opportunities available in the immediate vicinity defines the Turracher Höhe. You will be amazed by the beauty of 'Nockberge' mountains, the gently rolling landscape with its large expanses of Zirben forest, and the three mountain lakes.
Just as varied as the leisure opprtunities are the choices of accommodation, from private pensions and farmhouse hosts to a castle hotel and two other 4* hotels. So there is nothing getting in the way of a perfect holiday here, whether spent being active or merely relaxing.

Winter resort
The 'Turracher Höhe' skiing area makes all kinds of winter sports activites possible. Skiers, carvers and snowboarders alike are sure to have fun here. On 30 km of piste, skiing fun up to the end of April awaits you. Night skiing, the 'Ottifanten' children's ski world, ski schools and guaranteed snow cover complete the facilties.
Aside from the piste, a variety of activities await you, such as tobogganing (also at night), winter walks, ice-skating on the Turracher lake, or simply enjoying the sun on a deck chair outside one of the numerous alpine cabins.
25 km of cleared cross-country skiing runs, 15 km of winter footpaths, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snow-volleyball and curling bring additional choice and fun.
