The resort is situated on Semmering up to an altitude of 950-1360 m. Popular resort both for our tourists and for Austrian tourists due to very small distance from Vienna.
A few miles below the Panhans, from a vantage point hidden in the woods, hiking can admire the view from Semmering viaduct. Semmering, a city built in the story is the best place where you set your headquarters and where to start exploring the area. Hence nothing is on an hour drive.
Beginners and families, and skiers and snowboarders experience can enjoy the day but at night the tracks of various difficulties "Magic Mountain" Semmering. Good tracks but also wonderful views over the surrounding mountains make every day spent on the Semmering a unique experience. Here everyone can find something to his taste, even those who prefer freestyle or sledding and illuminated slopes to pursue fun until evening.
The slopes are serviced by five lifts facilities, including: an 8-person cable car., A 4-person chair lift and three ski lifts. Apart from one side all are equipped with snow cannons, and most are middle part and light, except for a black party.
Except Mondays you can ski at night.
Apres Ski: Night sledding track, skating rink, tennis courts, swimming pool, sauna, disco, numerous restaurants and bars.
At a distance of 7 km there is the Spital am Semmering resort - Stuhleck with a total of 20 km of trails. 2 telescuane and six lifts serving the three part red and 8 blue slopes.
