About Reith Im Alpbachtal - presentation, information, photos and recommendations
In summer active holidays already start in the centre of the village at Lake Reith. A jump into its cool water is the right start for active vacations, or it might also be a good idea after an exhausting tour along 150 km of hiking paths or mountain bike trails. Another must-see are the gardens of the Matzen Castle, which is one of the most magnificient cultural landscapes in Tyrol. It has been layed out in English style and includes two artificial lakes.
In winter Reith is an eldorado for those who love winter sports. Some 100 km of cross-country ski tracks snake their way through the fairytale-like winter landscape. Moreover, in the Ski Jewel Alpbachtal Wildschönau there are 128 km of ski slopes to be explored, as well as a fascinating 360° view to enjoy on the summit. The Hornlift facility takes experienced skiers on 2,000 m asl, while beginners can risk an attempt on the Reither Kogel hill. What some of you might not know is, that the Alpbachtal valley received a “White Oscar” by “The Good Skiing and Snowboarding Guide” and was declared to be one of the best small skiing areas of whole Europe.
Reith Im Alpbachtal | Reith is a real paradise for families and above all children.
Located on a sunny terrace of the Inntal valley, Reith is located in the Alpbachtal valley. The village is known as family-friendly flower village and has already been mentioned in the 10th century
