How to get there
By car: you take the motorway A2 til the exit Wiener Neustadt West and then the local road B 26 to Puchberg or motorway A2 til the exit Wöllersdorf and then the local road B 21 to Puchberg. By train: to Wiener Neustadt and from there the local train to Puchberg. By airplane: the nearest airport is Vienna-Schwechat.
Location
Puchberg am Schneeberg is situated on 577 m above the sea level and has 2840 inhabitants. The landmark of Puchberg is the Schneeberg, with 2075 m the highest mountanin of Lower Austria. You can take the Schneeberg-cable car or the more than 100 years old nostalgical railway to get on the mountain, where you will find several flowers and animals.
Puchberg in summer
Puchberg offers all, what a modern touristic village should have like minigolf, riding, swimming, tennis, hiking, climbing, mountan-biking, paragflying, inline-skating, badminton and some more else. Or you visit Vienna, the town of Sissi, which is only 80 km away.
Puchberg in winter
Enjoy the winter in Puchberg by skiing, cross-country, skating, fitness-curses or make a tour through the white winter-forrest. You will like both. Subject to alterations.
