Obervellach town is located in the romantic nature of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Numerous historical buildings, old town with pedestrian streets, chic hotels, restaurants and intimate atmosphere of the locality, but also very good access to ski areas in the national park reminiscent of the imperial period.
Renowned area clean helps to regenerate, revitalize body and soul. Mount Daniel is renowned in the area and attract visitors from everywhere and is know to energy fields on the plateau in the mountain.
Obervellach is one of the smaller ski resorts in Austria and has direct access to 77 km of alpine skiing, with 13 slopes and 16 cableways individual. The slopes are suitable for advanced skiers and environment.
With tracks over 2.500m high, the snow is guaranteed throughout the season (October to May).
