About Lienz - presentation, information, photos and recommendations
General information
The idyllic town of Lienz, set 673 m above sea level is surrounded by a stunning Alpine scenery - the renown Dolomites in the south and some of the highest peaks of the Alps in the north.
The small town (13.000 inhabitants) and its surrounding villages have still remained their origins and enjoy favorable weather conditions, influenced by the Mediterranean climate.
The town center is lined with old houses with colorful facades, street-side cafes and small shops decorated with flowers.
No industrial plants, no motorways, no traffic jams destroy the harmonic atmosphere of this town.
Lienz - the ultimate resort for recreation, action and comfort.
