How to get there
By car (in winter):
Munich - Innsbruck - Pians - Paznaunstraße - Galtür
Stuttgart - Ulm - Lindau - Arlberg tunnel or
Arlberg pass - Pians - Paznaunstraße - Galtür
Ulm - Kempten - Füssen - Fern pass - Imst -
Pians - Paznaunstraße - Galtür
By car (in summer only):
Lindau - Feldkirch - Bludenz -
Montafontal - Silvretta high alpine road - Galtür
By train:
Take a train to Landeck, from there catch a bus to Galtür. Duration of bus journey: approx. 70 minutes.
By plane:
Munich, Zürich or Innsbruck airports, then travel to Galtür by train or bus.
Summer resort
A crystal clear high mountain lake in the middle of a magnificent forrest. An easy walk along the high path, starting in Galtür and leading to Stafali Weiher (duration approx. 1 1/2 hours). Once there, three stone grill ovens and plenty of material for burning is at your displosal. A holiday in Galtür isn't the same without a few hours' stay in Stafali Weiher! In Galtür there's also a new activity pool, built in the winter of 2000/2001, with waterfall, massage jets, adventure slides - 45 m of eluminated slides - and sound effects.
Winter resort
There are no waiting times for the cable car in Galtür, thanks to their 'lift and go' motto. The 'Siggi Kinderclub' enjoys particular popularity. Every Wednesday there is night skiing from 19.30 to 22.30, on the 2 km long eluminated piste.
The 5 different ski walkways and cross-country ski runs differ from each other in terms of length, altitude and gradient. We can therefore claim that there's something for everyone here, and that you'll never have the chance to get bored!
