The Frauenkirchen community, like the rest of Burgenland, belonged to Hungary until 1920/21. After the end of the First World War, the territory of West German Hungary was given to Austria by the Treaties of St. Germain and Trianon. Starting with 1921, the city belongs to the new Burgenland fund. Frauenkirchen has been a municipality since 1982. For centuries it has been at the intersection of ancient pilgrimage routes and has been the host for many generations. At the entrance to the Neusiedler See-Fertöd World Heritage National Park, an intact nature opens, with good agriculture, producing excellent wines. With St. Martins Therme & Lodge is also one of the best destinations in Eastern Austria in terms of wellness! Stretching the landscape opens the view for the visitor and frees the mind for experiences of a special kind.
