Flattach in summer
The 'Großglockner' cycle path, over 50 km long, offers cyclists the opportunity to visit the different communities in the Möll valley. For those cyclists who are a little out of practice, there is the possibility of being taken by bus to the starting point of a pathway which is downhill all the way through the Möll valley to Möllbrücke. Enjoy the surrounded mountains by walking or hiking or climbing - you will be inspired.
Flattach in winter
Flattach is situated at the foot of the Mölltaler glacier, which is the highest-lying skiing area (2200 m - 3120 m) in Carinthia and East Tyrol. It offers a 100% snow guarantee from October until May and was open for skiing until 07. May 2000. With runs for both beginners and experts, and a halfpipe, cross-country skiing tracks, ski school, ski kindergarden, uphill transport facilities, ski hire and huts for the Après Ski fun, the glacier area offers something for all ski enthusiasts. A total of 47,5 km of well-prepared pistes and 7 different lifts are at your disposal.

By car:
From Germany: via Munich - Salzburg - Spittal - Mölltal valley.
From Italy: via Udine - Villach - Spittal - Mölltal valley.
From Vienna: take the A2 motorway via Klagenfurt - Villach - Spittal - Mölltal valley.
By train:
Railway station Mallnitz/Obervellach, then catch a bus to Flattach.
By airplane:
the nearest airport is in Klagenfurt.
Location
Flattach, with its 1350 inhabitants, lies 699 m above sea level and is situated in the mountains, close to a river and a ski area. In the heart of the rolling landscapes of the Carinthian 'Oberland', on the south side of the terrific 'Hohe Tauern', this natural holiday destination is located in the middle of the Mölltal sport region, directly at the foot of the Mölltaler glacier.
