The town is located along the Semmeringer expressway S6.
by Train:
The market community lies directly along the south railway route and therefore can be reached easily from all directions by train. The railway station is located directly in the centre of Alpl.
by Aeroplane:
The nearest airports are in Graz and Vienna.
Distances: Graz approx. 100 km and Vienna approx. 134 km.

Alpl, as well as the region around Alpl offer many events, such as concerts, public readings and much more! Of course doing winter sports is another way to spend your holidays. For skiers and cross-country skiers Alpl offers a perfect setting. 7 kilometres of slope and 7 lifts make for a perfect skiing holiday. In addition Alpl offers a lift for tobogganing and 850 m of illuminated toboggan runs as well as a Snowfunpark with half pipe, Quaterpipe and jump hill for the youth.
