The very original mountain village Mühlbach am Hochkönig is situated on 860 m in the heart of the Salzburger Land. A total of 120 km of broad and perfectly prepared pistes as well as a broad offer of leisure time activities aside from the pistes make Mühlbach an incredily multi-faceted holiday region.
Two cultural highlights are the Buwi-Bradl-memorial, reminicent of the Mühlbach ski jumper Joseph Brandl who was the first person to fly over 100 m, and the "Florale Bergschuh" (floral sculpture in the form of a mountain boot) on an altitude of 1,400 m at Dientner Sattel, which is known as the biggest in all of Europe.

After having spent the whole day on the slopes with perfect snow conditions around Hochkönig, by evening it's time to allow yourself some peace and quiet to regain energy for the next day. This can ideally be done with a glass of wine in one of the bars or on a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the lovely winter landscape. Other sports activities include snowshoe hiking, ice skating or tobogganing down a 3.5 km long hill for instance - these are just a few of the numerous possibilities.
