The traditional hotel is located on the market square of the picturesque village of Windischgarsten, framed by the majestic mountains of the Haller walls and the Sengsengebirge. Due to its central location in the middle of the Windischgarstner valley in the south of Upper Austria, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike or mountain tours or other excursion destinations.
Whether in winter or summer, the beautiful landscape on the edge of the Kalkalpen National Park makes the hearts of sports and hiking enthusiasts beat faster. A top-class excursion destination is the Wurbauerkogel adventure mountain with Austria's second longest summer toboggan run. The new panorama tower is located on the mountain station and offers a view of 21 two-thousand-meter peaks. In the valley there is an 800m long, all-weather alpine rollercoaster, the so-called Alpine Coaster. You will find wonderful refreshment in the Gleinkersee and the Enghagen Wildlife Adventure Park is an experience for the whole family. The golf course is only about 1.5 km from our hotel and is a real experience for golf fans.
