The traditional ski and world cup village of Hinterstoder is located in the south of Upper Austria and is famous for its snow security. Idyllic winter landscapes and a ski-run, which extends to 2.000m above sea level, await you here. The Hinterstoder-Höss ski area offers 40 kilometers of slopes of all difficulty levels. The wide offer in Hinterstoder also offers a Sunny Kids Park for the youngest, the SNOWtrail adventure track, a speed track as well as the Hannes-Trinkl worldcup track for experienced skiers.
There are 2 classic, 4 skating and 1 high altitude trail for cross-country skiers. Along the cross-country ski runs there are huts and inns.
Furthermore, the region offers beautiful routes for winter and snowshoe hikes, numerous tobogganing possibilities and cozy ski huts and après ski events.
