The Alpenhaus Kaprun is located in the center of Kaprun, at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn.

Winter fun

The year-round glacier skiing area Kitzsteinhorn offers numerous descents, breathtaking panoramic views and excellent infrastructure. 2 more ski areas are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel: the traditional Schmitten in Zell am See and the family mountain Maiskogel. The free ski bus takes you to the ski resort of Zell am See-Kaprun (7km) and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier (5km) within a very short time. The Maiskogelbahn family ski lifts are only 200m away. Non-skiers will find plenty of alternatives in Kaprun for fun on the slopes: cross country skiing, sledding, ice skating and winter hiking are at offer. The ski bus stop and the trail entrance are only 50m from the hotel. Take advantage of the ski pass service in the house as well as special conditions for the rental of ski equipment.
