St Johann trying hard to embellish authenticity; customs and events are celebrated, the most important being Raunächte and Perchtenlauf ceremonies. St Johann is a good base for a family holiday with a lower budget and a good connection to the city of Salzburg, without abandoning aspect mountain holidays in Austria.
