The family-run, 3-star Family Hotel Rotspitz is located in a quiet part of Maurach, approx. 500 m from the centre. A ski bus stop and access to a cross-country trail are to be found nearby. Rofan lift is approx. 300 m from the accommodation and takes you right up into the ski area. The Tyrolean style hotel offers an entrance area with reception, lift, wifi (incl.), a non-smoking dining hall, restaurant, a cosy parlour, hotel bar, reading room and ski and ski boot room. The approx. 380 m² large spa area offers a stone sauna, Finnish sauna, steam sauna (daily between 16:00 and 20:00), fitness room, jacuzzi and infrared fit and health cabin (daily between 09:00 and 20:00) and is free to use. Solarium, baths and massages are available when booked and paid for locally. Free parking spaces and a parking garage are also available (based on availabilities). Every Monday there are free torch hikes with mulled wine and camp fire organised, and once per week there is a cosy nostalgic evening with music from the 60's.

The friendly rooms offer a shower/wc, cable TV, wifi (incl.), radio, telephone, hair drier and safe (payable locally). The holiday price already includes half-board and comprises a breakfast buffet with organic products, house-made bread and eggs, as well as an a la carte menu with salad and dessert buffet in the evenings. Once per week there is a gala dinner with aperitif and zither music, as well as a Tyrolean farmer's buffet.
